ERIC LITTLE

Eric Little was born in Macomb on May 19, 1973 and raised on the family farm in Fountain Green township. He's lived in that house his entire life, since he was about 1 year old minus his time at college, and first 3 years of marriage when he rented a house from Helen Latherow before buying the family farm house from his parents.

Eric married Jenni Balmer in 1996 and they'll celebrate their 25th anniversary on June 29th.

Eric & Jenni have two sons. Logan just finished his first year studying Music Therapy at WIU and Kaden just graduated from La Harpe Junior High School. His parents are Lucille Little and the late Lldon Little. Lucille lives at Wesley Village in Macomb and the family enjoys visiting her and eating in the Diner now that it's open again.

His grandparents were Ross and Dorothy Johnson of Pontoosuc and Guy and Mary Little of La Harpe.

Eric is the youngest of 4 children, a "surprise" 9 years after sister Lisa Vento. His most mature siblings are Lynne Beaver and David Little. He has several cousins on the Johnson side and many, many cousins on the Little side. Lldon was the youngest of eight children.

Eric attended La Harpe schools for Kindergarten through high school and graduated in 1991 and graduated from WIU in 1995 with a degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration and a minor in Biology. He loves to relax with time in nature and has been a Scout leader for many years for both boys.

Eric has been a RealtorŪ for 6 years and Managing Broker/Owner of Crossroads Real Estate for 2 years. From 1996 to 2009 he owned and operated Little Brothers Inc. a plumbing, heating & HVAC company in La Harpe and Carthage, then he sold the company and worked for Hollister Home Center for a few years. He's also farmed his entire life, including a great partnership with his brother in law Steve Beaver for 10 years before Steve passed in 2020.

Currently, Eric farms 350 acres in Durham and Ft. Green townships. He's an active member of the LaHarpe Christian Church where he plays bass guitar for the praise team.

Eric's family often travelled west for vacations in his childhood and he's keeping that tradition alive. His Jeep takes his family to the top of some tough trails to amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. During COVID, a new tradition of kayaking started as well and continued with a trip to Eminence, MO this year to kayak on the Jack's Fork and Current Rivers.

Eric plans to open a new Crossroads Real Estate office later this summer and he looks forward to being able to go in person to Logan's concerts and Kaden's sporting events.
