Meet Your Neighbor and Illini West Senior Dakora Taylor. Dakora is the daughter of Jennifer and Terry Taylor and lives in Carthage.
She has been involved in FBLA and Drama Club.
In her free time Dakora enjoys playing video games and watching Letterkenny.
When Dakora was asked what her favorite memory from high school was she responded with, "my favorite memory will always be the FBLA state competition my sophomore year because of the iHop journey!"
Dakora was also asked who her most influential teacher was, "I'd have to pick Greg Hoener to be my most influential teacher, he's an amazing guy".
Dakora's advise to the underclassmen is, "just don't stress too much!High school is a ride but you'll make it".
Dakora plans on obtaining a two year degree but her major is undecided.
