Aunt Polly

Hello folks,

I've been baking up a storm with all this cold weather and snow as my nephews and the neighbor boys always seem to be dropping in and are hungry. Usually I have some homemade rolls and jam, but they keep checking the cookie jar which has been empty since Christmas so I made them a batch of my grandma's sugar cookies and asked the boys to frost them. They shoveled the sidewalks and then had a lot of fun frosting and then eating most of them.

Tomorrow they are coming back to make valentines and have some of my niece's favorite Texas Cake I made. Jimmy is pretty sweet on her and plans to put a big slice into a red container and sticking a bow and hearts on it to surprise her on Valentines Day.

Hope you give someone a valentine to make them feel special. It's a kind thing to do. See you in church Valentine's Day! -Love, Aunt Polly
