Dr. Megan McCollum
Meet your neighbor Dr. Megan M. McCollum. Megan was born in Burlington, Iowa to Mike and Michele (Baxter) McCollum who grew up in the area and graduated High School in Henderson County. She has one older brother, Michael McCollum (Smithshire), and two younger sisters- Mallory Adams (Mililani, HI) and Morgan McCollum (Media). She also has a new niece, Londyn McCollum (Media).
Megan graduated from Southern High School (Stronghurst) in 2004. She obtained her Bachelor's and Master's Degree's at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. She received her MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She currently lives in Chicago.
Before medical school she was a Staff Scientist at Washington University (St. Louis). Currently Postdoctoral Scholar in Pharmacology at Northwestern (Chicago).
Her hobbies include photography, knitting, calligraphy, and spending time with her family. Her favorite tradition is baking holiday sugar cookies for both of her sisters.
