The Belted Cow Orchard was opened in September of 2017 by Sean and Marci Meyers. It has always been a family business and all their children help run it.

Employees include Sean and Marci, Justin and Mackenzie Crooks, Grace and Sam Meyers, Ben Hill, and Stephanie Howard.

The Belted Cow is known for their fresh picked apples and homemade cider which are amazing in the fall, their fresh homemade donuts, freshly ground and brewed coffee, and homegrown belted cow beef, plus many gift items.

Their most popular items is their local beef, tasty donuts, and coffee.

They do many things at the business including gift baskets, extra special homemade items on holidays and much more.

They roast their coffee beans in house and their beef is all local.

One of their main goals this year is to get a playground for the kids to play on so their parents can relax while they are there.

ROOTS:

In 1955 Sean's grandparents, Van and Ethel Meyer, embarked on a farming journey that has continued through five generations. In 2000 the farm was expanded down the stretch of highway 164 (to where The Belted Cow Orchard now sits) by Van and Ethel's son Gary and his wife Barb Meyer. In 2009, their son, Sean and wife Marci moved from Texas to Van and Ethel's homestead along with their three daughters Mackenzie, Grace, and Samantha.

Marci came with a dream, and in 2016 The Belted Cow Orchard became more than just a dream when the first trees were planted. The next year a building went up and the store was created. Marci says, The Belted Cow Orchard strives to provide high quality fruit and cider, along with high quality Buelingo beef.

Beef:

Raised right on the farm, our Buelingo cattle have great marbling with less outer fat content. They are raised on grass and grains that we bring straight off the farm. They believe that happy cows are healthy cows and we treat ours like family.

FRUIT

THey also strive to provide high quality fruit from their 4,200 apple trees with varieties ranging from Gala, Honeycrisp, Kindercrisp, Golden Delicious, and many more.

CIDER

Marci says, "We sell high quality cider acquired from a reputable orchard. Our goal is to produce our own apple cider in the near future."

BAKED ITEMS

Cake donuts made fresh daily Tuesday-Saturday. "We make specialty pastries on Saturday mornings including cinnamon rolls, turnovers, and croissants. Our selection varies week to week, so keep an eye on our social media platforms to see what we have available!"
