Eagle View Community Health System is a federally qualified health center (FQHC) that provides quality medical, dental, behavioral health, and substance use services to all, regardless of their ability to pay.

With two locations in Henderson County, Oquawka and Stronghurst, Eagle View is well-equipped to provide these services to the residents of the county and the surrounding areas.

In 1979, the Henderson County Board of Health opened the Henderson County Rural Health Center, later to be known as Eagle View Community Health System.

The clinic utilized trailers for medical and administration offices as well as a pharmacy. A dental van was used for dental services.

In 1981, the land that the clinic currently operates on was donated to the Henderson County Rural Health Center by Ivah T. Huffnagle.

The Henderson County Board of Health opened the Henderson County Rural Health Center and appointed Tary Brown as the 1st administrator. Brown lead the way for the Henderson County Rural Health Center to offer medical and dental services as well as a WIC program.

Eagle View Community Health System is run by a non-profit board of directors. ?

They have expanded their substance use services. Their Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Amanda Bolte, is now accepting new patients for substance use counseling and DUI evaluations.

Eagle View accepts most insurances, including Illinois and Iowa Medicaid/Medicare, and offers a Sliding Fee Discount Program for uninsured or underinsured individuals based on income and household size.

Eagle View currently has 51 employees including three Nurse Practitioners - Yvonne Fillmore, Jennifer Hand, and Craig Osborn

Two dentists - Dr. Na-Jee Harris and Dr. Vivek Narra;

Two Licensed Clinical Social Workers - Susan Jensen and Crystal Johnson;

One Substance Use Counselor - Amanda Bolte;
