Eagle View Community Health System announced today that Jennifer Reed, M.D has officially resigned from her position as Medical Director and Provider effective Thursday, August 27, 2020.
Dr. Reed has dedicated four years of quality patient care at Eagle View Community Health System. In September 2019 she took on the role as Medical Director.
Eagle View Community Health System is currently interviewing candidates to fill Dr. Reed's position once she has departed.
Michael AbouAssaly, M.D has stepped in to serve as Medical Director. Dr. AbouAssaly is a Family Medicine Specialist in West Burlington, IA and has over 25 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from Roy J Lucille A Carver College of Medicine At University Of Iowa medical school in 1995. He is affiliated with Great River Medical Center.
Though Eagle View is sad to see her go, they are happy to inform their patients that this will not affect the quality care that they already receive from Eagle View Community Health System at both Oquawka and Stronghurst locations.
They have two Family Nurse Practitioners who are currently taking new patients of all ages. Yvonne Fillmore, FNP will be primarily seeing patients in the Oquawka office and Craig Osborn, FNP will start seeing patients primarily in the Stronghurst office.
