Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab opened in 1989 after many years of fundraising by the community.

They are a not-for-profit under the umbrella of Henderson County Retirement Center, Inc., along with Oak Wood Estates.

The beautiful facility features intimate rooms, many with a lovely view. In 2000, Oak Lane added a 1600 square foot activity center and an attractive dining room. In 2018, they finished the interior total remodel.

Oak Lane has 57 caring employees in 7 different departments: Nursing, Dietary, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Activities, Social Services, and Administration.
The administrative staff members include: Administrator Valerie Lybarger-Adams, Director of Nursing Melissa Tate, Assistant Director of Nursing and MDS & Care Plan Coordinator Amy Snyder, Activity Director Taylor Haynes, Social Service Director, Admissions and Office Assistant Valerie Hinderliter, Psycho-Social Coordinator Carole Dillon, Dietary Supervisor Nicole Morris, Environmental Service Director Justin Tate and Office Manager Dianne Kirchner.
Several of the employees have been at Oak Lane since the building opened 31 years ago.
Oak Lane is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week serving the community.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Oak Lane has been following strict guidelines to keep their residents and staff safe. The staff and residents have missed having volunteers, resident's families and board members in the facility during the pandemic. The community has provided wonderful support each and every day.
