SANDY HAMILTON

Sandy was born on August 29th, 1959 in Monmouth to Arnold and Phyllis Daniel who are both deceased.

She has three sisters, Marsha, Barb and Sue and two brothers, Bill and Steve.

Sandy attended Monmouth schools and graduated with the class of 1977.

She married Paul Hamilton on August 28th, 2010 and moved to Carman in 2011.

Her granddaughter, Lydia Bohnenkamp, who Paul and Sandy co-parent with Lydia's other set of grandparents also lives with them.

Sandy worked at Applegate Nursing Home (later changed the name to Pinewood) in Monmouth for 13 years. On June 1st, she will be starting her 31st year at Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab in Stronghurst.

She is the "laundry lady" and supervisor of housekeeping.

When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and granddaughter.

Sandy likes taking their black lab, Lacy, for walks and being outside trying to learn to ride Lydia's electric scooter, with Lydia's help, but not much luck yet.

A few quotes come to mind to share about life. "Enjoy everyday that you can with the ones you love. You never know what tomorrow will bring." Sandy advises. "Don't dwell on the past, look for the good things in the future." Sandy said.
