In her free time, she enjoys quilting and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

A special memory was when she and her husband were in the Navy, they enjoyed coming home to visit family. After having children, Bobbi would take them to meet the ship after a long deployment and seeing the kids faces when their Dad walked off the ship was priceless.

She follows the quote "Treat others as you want to be treated."

Bobbi has been in the medical field for many years. She worked as a C.N.A. for 16 years starting at Burlington Care Center then Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab. In 2009 she started at Oak Wood Estates Retirement Village as the Administrator which is her current position.

As the Administrator at Oak Wood, she is an essential worker that has to keep up on new guidelines all the time, but especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Her day includes daily webinars, checking PPE inventory and making sure Oak Wood has enough for the staff and residents.

Rooms are disinfected daily as well as the common areas. She visits with the residents daily and finds different activities for them to do. The favorite activity is bingo which has been done in the hallway since social distancing was established.

Bobbi and her staff try to keep residents active, informed and as "up to beat' as possible during this time of quarantine. "It takes a lot of teamwork," Bobbi says, "I have a great team here at OakWood."

Her final thoughts for everyone's safety is remember to wear a mask, wash hands frequently, maintain social distancing and stay safe and healthy.
