Dianne Kircher

Dianne was born in St. Mary's Hospital, Quincy to Richard and Edith Kircher and raised on a farm 3 miles northwest of Loraine. Her father died when she was six and her mother remarried to Lester Cameron when she was a teenager. Her mother died in 1995.

Dianne's Grandmother Bessie Kircher, lived on a farm 3 miles from Dianne's family. Her dad farmed and had a dairy on her Grandma's farm where they also raised gladiolas for show and sale, too.

Her other grandmother Frieda Stratton, lived on the farm where Dianne's mom was raised. "I guess you could say we were a farm family, even though I don't consider myself farm material."

Dianne has three brothers, Brian Kircher of Mendon and Brad and Jason Cameron of Warsaw, along with four nephews, one niece, and one grandniece.

She attended grade school at Loraine Elementary in the last class to have an 8th grade graduation. She attended Unity High School in Mendon then on to Gem City College for a two-year associates degree in Business and Accounting.

She worked as a bookkeeper at Knapheide Equipment Company for three years and was hired in 1980 by North Adams Home as a bookkeeper where she worked 22 1/2 years.

In 2006 she was hired by Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab in Stronghurst as an office manager. She drove an hour each way to work until she moved to Stronghurst in 2008. She enjoys every day of work and said, "I have been blessed with the best boss and co-workers that a person could want.

Dianne loves to attend Bible Study and learn more about how to live as a follower of Jesus Christ. Her favorite Bible study is Secret Church with David Platt. It is six wonderful interactive hours of teaching from the Word. She loves to make things for people and gift them anonymously. She has done crocheting, counted cross stitch, macram, tole painting, china painting as well as many other crafts that have all gone by the wayside.

She enjoys quilling which is rolling up little strips of paper to make cards and pictures. Making 3-D quilling is her favorite. She likes jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, word games with scrabble a favorite. She enjoys ballgames that her nephews, grandniece or neighbors play. At family get-togethers, they always have a good time on birthdays, holidays and especially Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

My life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart. And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight."
