Raritan Alleys Will Not Be Surveyed

At the regular meeting of the Village of Raritan Trustees on January 9th, it was decided to drop the surveying of alleys in the village for now.

The meeting opened with President Michael Knapp leading in the Pledge of Allegiance and Clerk Jim Blender in prayer.

Bills presented and approved were: Phil Anders $84.00; Dennis Rankin $308.00; Dallas Rural Water $475.45; Waste Management $1,169.60; PDC $20.00; MHDH $8,000.00; Ameren IP $1,034.65; All Flags $595.02; Raritan Township $333.06; Eagle Enterprises $100.00; Carolyn Anders $55.00; Mike Knapp $80.00.

Old Business:

The board approved sending letters to owners of inoperable motor vehicles

It was reported they are still researching and planning to purchase a safe.

New business was the trustees will take down the Christmas decorations.
