The Hancock-Henderson Quill, Inc.

Becky's Farewell

I am stepping away from my position at the La Harpe Quill Office, but I don't plan to be a stranger! I am hoping to occasionally still contribute to our local paper even though I am no longer able to do so on a weekly basis.

I appreciate all the kind words and support I have had the past two years as I took on this new experience. Jumping in to something totally new to me was a little scary, but I have really enjoyed it. Most of all, I enjoyed the many contacts, visits, and friendships I have made through this adventure.

I want to express my sincere appreciation to all the businesses and individuals I solicited many times for ads which enabled us to spotlight various school and community events. The Quill truly appreciates your support and I hope your support will continue.

I would also like to encourage the Quill community to continue to send in your news. Our readers love to hear what's going on and no news is too trivial to share. Please, please send us your news for the success of our hometown paper.

My last day at the La Harpe office will be next Monday, March 2 but I am happy to help with questions if you need assistance in submitting your news. For something not time-sensitive, you can contact me or send an email to: becky.laharpequill@gmail.com.

Weekly news can be sent by email to quill@hcil.net. If no one is available at the La Harpe Office, calls are forwarded to the Stronghurst Office at 309-924-1871.

If you are interested in working 8-12 hours per week in the La Harpe Quill Office, please contact the Stronghurst office at 309-924-1871.
