Sherrard- Winning the 5th Regional title in eight seasons says a lot for the Lady Chargers and their coaches at Illini West. The girls were able to take advantage of turnovers, hold Mercer County to one point in the second quarter with a 49-19 victory and the Regional trophy sending them on to the Class 2A Macomb Sectional this past Monday, Presidents Day.
