Business Spotlight

by Donna Pindell The Quill

Flatt Tire Service was opened by Bradley and Rhonda (Nichols) Flatt in 2014 at it's current location, the original building of Neff Implement Company.

Brad wanted a business that used his last name, Flatt, so tire fit perfectly for a catchy play on words. Brad always thought he'd like to have bumper stickers made that said, "I Bought 4 Flatt Tires."

The shop is open Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Zach Jacobs, the shop manager, and Chandra Woodbury, the office manager take care of most of the Flatt Tire business, while Brad and Rhonda focus on their other businesses. Jeff Vancil helps out occasionally when they need an extra hand.

Flatt Tire sells tires of all of all major brands and sizes for cars, trucks and agricultural vehicles. The majority of business comes from selling and mounting tires, but they also do oil changes.

Brad and Rhonda have two children, daughter Chandra (Todd) Woodbury and son Travis (Michelle) Vancil. They also have five grandchildren, Connor and Peyton Woodbury, and Grant, Maddox and Addison Vancil.

The Flatt's enjoy spending time with their grandkids whether it be watching them play sports or just being on the farm.

Next time you need an oil change or some tires for your vehicle, give Zach a call and then you can say, "I bought a Flatt tire."
