Alyssa Chapin is the daughter of Sandra and Tony Chapin.

Alyssa has been involved in cheerleading throughout all 4 years of high school, along with the international club.

During Alyssa’s free time she enjoys  watching Netflix, (specifically Grey’s Anatomy), online shopping, and spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs.

Alyssa says one of her favorite high school memories has been cheering at all the football and basketball games.

Alyssa was asked who her role models were. She said, “My role models will always be my parents. They shaped me into the person I am today. They have influenced me throughout my childhood and teenage years and taught me what it means to be a good person. They always pushed me to be the best person I can be and to always do the right thing. They make me a better person overall and I know I’ll always have their support. I’ll always look up to them both!”.

Her advice to the underclassmen is, “Always live in the moment, even while trying to figure out your future. Don’t stress about college and your future life too much, no one has it 100% figured out. Everything will eventually fall into place. The days may seem long but before you know it four years go by, you’re a Senior and you will wonder where it all went. Participate in school activities, you only have four years so do everything while you can! Lastly, always be confident in yourself. High school is a wild ride and may seem scary, but you’ll make amazing memories that you’ll never forget, so hold onto every moment!”

As of right now, Alyssa plans to attend college at UMSL and major in Biology, and potentially have an internship at an aquarium. Afterwards, Alyssa would like to reside near STL, and work with marine life.
