USA-Containers, LLC is co-owned by Mike and Ann Alecock. They started the company in 2010.
The office is open from Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Appointments for after hours and weekend visits can be arranged.
Mike said, “We welcome our neighbors to come out and visit us and we’ll give you a nickel tour of our facilities, out here in the middle of the cornfields of the great Midwest!”
In a nutshell, USA-Containers provide sales, rentals and custom modifications of sea going shipping containers. Their customers use these storage containers for general farm storage, livestock shelters, seed storage and equipment storage. The containers are used pretty much for anything you need to protect from the elements and it can fit into the container.
USA-Containers also specializes in modified and refrigerated containers. Their customers on that side of the business are particularly unique and diverse. Mike and Ann’s employees have built wood kilns, dog kennels, water treatment enclosures, motor and control rooms, hunting cabins and mobile offices just to name a few unique uses for shipping containers.
The refrigerated containers are used by their customers for anything you could imagine needing climate control. This includes food storage, pharmaceutical storage and extreme cold test chambers for equipment testing.
Recently, they have been involved with many charitable non-profit organizations who use the units for re-distribution of perishable food products.
USA-Containers employs twelve exceptional people that Mike and Ann are proud to call part of the family and team.
Mike said, “Many companies like to use the term ‘family owned and operated’. We really try our best to operate our company where it is a great place to work.”
The team is the most important part of the business and the Alecock’s are blessed to have a great group of people that makes coming to work not such a bad thing.
The teams’ talent includes in-house and expert administrative services, from accounting, customer service, logistics, social media and advertising.
Out in the USA-Container shop, the services include metal fabrication, welding, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, refrigeration and all types of mechanical services.
Owners, Mike and Ann Alecock have three wonderful young ladies that they could not be more proud of. The young ladies chosen professions is a testament to their kind and giving nature.
Hannah, the oldest daughter, and Addie, the youngest daughter are both in the health care profession and work with the elderly and handicapped.
Emily, the middle daughter, lives in Panama City, FL and works for a veterinarian clinic. Like her mother, Emily has a deep passion for animals of all types.
