Lori Hamilton is the current owner. Her father, Bob Hamilton, started as a TV and radio store in 1958. In 1970, Bob built a new building at the current location and added furniture and floor covering.

Bob's TV sells furniture, floor covering, window treatments, large appliances, decorative and gift items. Lori keeps an array of unique items.

Lori's most popular items are: Flexsteel Furniture especially motion with power headrest and power lumbar. She also sells Speed Queen washers and dryers made in Wisconsin.

Lori employs Linda Roberts who has been at the store for 34 years and Damie Hindman who has been at the store for 10 years. These two take care of sales, decorating, clerical and everything else. Lori said, "Everyone does everything."

Bob's is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Normally, the store is closed on Sunday, but Lori will make appointments on Sunday if necessary. You can reach the store by phone at 309-924-1811 or email at bobstv@hcil.net.

When away from the store, Lori enjoys spending time with her family. She has a son, Shane (Jenni) Pinson and two step-daughters, Chrissy Russell and Tanya Blakeman. Lori also has five grandsons, Emmett, Colton, Kaden, Weston and Roy along with two granddaughters, Sophie and Marley.
