AMANDA JACK HASH

Amanda was raised by her Dad and Mom, Dan and Christa Todd Jack of Terre Haute. Her grandparents are Jerry and Barb Jack of La Harpe and Ralph and Beth Todd of Terre Haute.

Currently, she lives in Stronghurst with her husband, George and their 3-year old daughter, Izzy. Izzy is being promoted to a Big Sister in October when Amanda and George are expecting their second child.

Amanda has two sisters, her twin Emma (Jacob) Shaw from Macomb and her younger sister Jessie from Terre Haute.

Amanda attended elementary and middle school at La Harpe School and was the first class to go to Illini West for all four high school years.

She works at La Harpe Davier Health Care Center in La Harpe as a RN (Registered Nurse).

While she was attending nursing school, she worked as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) at Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab in Stronghurst. After becoming a RN she worked at the Henderson County Health Department in Gladstone.

She enjoys spending time with her family.

George, Amanda and Izzy try to travel to Texas at least once a year to visit George's Dad, Guy Hash.

An important quote that Amanda treasures is "Count your blessings!"

As far as the Covid-19 virus changing her everyday activity, she promotes washing your hands, take your temperature regularly and wear your mask to help stop the spread.

At La Harpe Davier, the residents have their vitals taken everyday and practice social distancing by sitting at separate tables to eat and the residents mostly stay in their rooms.
