What's In Your Neck of the Woods

Diane Beals is hanging a ribbon on one of the ten light poles that were decorated on Broadway Street in Stronghurst, last Wednesday. Not pictured, but also helping was Jim Blender, owner of Bygones & Buds.

Linda Latta of Stronghurst, wishing to honor all the people putting their lives on the line during this time of crisis, purchased the blue, red, and green ribbons from Bygones & Buds and employee Diane Beals put the rosettes together.

Blue representing doctors and nurses; Red representing the ambulance crew and first responders; and Green representing all the other essential health care workers.

The ribbons display SUPPORT & THANKFULNESS to the workers who can't stay home during the "stay home stay healthy" order. All these workers face risk when they have to leave their home to help.

We are so grateful and there are not enough words to express our appreciation and gratitude.
