WHAT'S IN YOUR NECK OF THE WOODS

Since we are all confined to our homes and to social distancing for another month due to the growing Coronavirus Pandemic, we thought it would be nice if readers would send us a picture by email or snail mail, of what is going on in their "neck of the woods" or neighborhood. Please email your picture and caption with location and name to: quill@hcil.net or mail it to The Quill, P.O. Box 149, Stronghurst, IL 61480.

PONTOOSUC, IL: "In our neck of the woods, my sons Dalton and Damen Mason wrote a message on our foundation of our home for everyone to see. But since we live in Pontoosuc, not many people see it! We would love to share it with others! Both boys have sensory issues, so I have been staying busy finding sensory things for them to do during the Pandemic. We also made a sensory trail on the sidewalk which consisted of hopscotch, an alphabet bunny hop, and a zig zag with circle turns, and curves to walk on!"

Sincerely, Kelly Mason, Pontoosuc ( Dalton and Damen's mom)

Oak Lane and Oak Wood Board member Richard Clifton caught putting up his home-made sign letting the staff know "You Are My HEROES" - signed Richard Clifton.

Hearts decorate the windows on the south side of the Quill office in Stronghurst.
