Found More Need For The Cloth Masks

Many people are trying to find a way to help during this COVID-19 pandemic while sheltering in place.

June Galbraith of Gladstone has a friend who's daughter works at the Niabi Zoo in Coal Valley.

The workers at the zoo must all wear a mask to work with the zoo animals, especially the primates since their DNA so resembles humans.

Each worker needs a set of three in the same all cotton fabric so they can daily be changed and laundered.

June saw the need and has been making masks for them. So far, she has sewed 8 sets of 3 and has enough fabric to probably make a thousand more if needed, she said.

June states, "Those with the most fabric wins."
