Good News Sighting at Rozetta

Another warm gesture occurred Sunday afternoon after the tragic loss of Missy Bennett, 51, the beloved wife of Pastor Jimmy Bennett of the Rozetta Baptist Church.

Missy went into the hospital with upper respiratory symptoms and sepsis which eventually shut down her organs. The COVID-19 test came back negative and the virus was not the cause, doctors said, but because of the COVID-19 outbreak, public visitations can not be held. But, Anita Smith, had a suggestion for a surprise drive-by at 2:00 p.m. on Palm Sunday to show their support. With the help of Dean and Jenny Clark, Hannah Allaman and several of the congregation, around 55 vehicles of well-wishes arrived, showing their respect and love, to let Pastor know they care and are there for him. He and his family were lined up outside their home next to the church and definitely felt the love and were overwhelmed by the showing and concern. Below is their picture taken with a Drone by Nicholas Defenbaugh and Luke Kinneer.
