Christmas Book Items Needed

The 2019 Christmas book must be at our printers by the first of December so we are needing our readers to send in their pictures, recipes, and stories by next week November 22nd.....the sooner, the better.

Our book will be "Stories of Past Christmases" and I plan on including several of Donald Young's past stories in Don's memory. Don passed away last year of a heart attack and although he was not from our area, but from Ohio, he passed through frequently preaching in churches as an evangelist, or picking up items to take to the less fortunate.

Often Don would email and tell me he was working on some stories for the Christmas Book and he would mail several of them to us. He loved The Quill and he also loved Christmas.

We at The Quill greatly miss his emails and his many contributions and encouraging words.

We also appreciate all of you in our area who have sent in stories and recipes and pictures.

Please take time to write something about a past Christmas, whether a favorite recipe, a story about a special event or visitor, or whatever has meant the most to you during a past Christmas. We love reading stories of our neighbors.
