Meet your neighbor Alex Walker. Alex recently joined the staff at Wood Tax and Accounting in La Harpe as Administrative Assistant/Accountant.

Alex is currently part-time and will transition to full-time next spring during tax season.

Alex is originally from Geneseo, but currently resides in Macomb with his spouse Evan Walker.

Alex graduated from Western Illinois University in May 2019, with an Accountancy degree. During his enrollment at WIU, he was involved in the Marketing Club and also participated in various volunteer activities including the local food pantry and Horn Field campus.

Alex loves animals and says they have several pets. He likes plants and enjoys gardening. Alex and Evan also enjoy paddle boarding at Spring Lake.

Alex is also employed part-time as a pharmacy technician at Hy-Vee in Macomb.
