Take "The Quill" Along

Val Holman of Gladstone, took "The Quill" along when she visited the UK to attend the Red Hat Convention in Torquay, England, held October 10-14th. She stayed almost 2 weeks. She met Janet and Mavis at the International Red Hat Convention in New York City over 2 years ago, and have stayed in contact thru Facebook. They invited her to their convention " Rocking on the Riveria". She first arrived in London where she stayed over night before leaving on a train for a 3-hour tour. She toured several villages, visited a castle in Norwich, and enjoyed an afternoon tea in a ladies home which is over 500 years old. They also went punting on the river in Cambridge. There is beautiful architect of the schools there, built in the 1800s. The ladies had a farewell tea for Val at the Bee Hive where they have their chapter meetings. Val said, "It was a very enjoyable adventure and I love red Hatting, because it gives you an opportunity to make friends all over the world and have fun."

When you go on a trip, take "The Quill" along and have your picture taken with it, then send it to us. Let's see where all "The Quill" can travel.
