The La Harpe/Dallas City Bulldogs Track and Field team participated in the IESA Track and Field State finals on Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11.
The La Harpe Fire District escorted the bus out of town as the team headed to East Peoria at 7:00 a.m. on Friday morning.
State results include Olivia Johnson-9th place in 7A girls Discus and 13th in Shot Put, Ali Lopez-12th place in 7A girls 200M, and Shawn Watkins, Jr-20th place in 7A boys 110M hurdles. The 8th grade girls 4x100M relay was disqualified for an exchange zone violation.
