In early March, Sally Day of Stronghurst, traveled with Beth Carson and Lauren Carson of Colchester to New Zealand.
The trip was a chance of a lifetime and incredible! Sally is seen here (with the Quill), with two men from the Maori tribe in Waitangi in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand.
You will notice the Maori men both are sticking out their tongues which is considered a warm welcome from the tribe.
While in New Zealand, the girls stayed at the home of David and Sarah White and their girls, Emily and Lexi in Orewa. Sarah was Sally's AFS student daughter in the late "80s.
