Take The Quill Along

On Friday, September 7, 2018, the Quill traveled to the 11th Annual Mackinac Bridge Antique Tractor Crossing took place this year. There were 1342 tractors that were at least 40 years old involved. The staging area was on the southern side of the Straits of Mackinac in Mackinaw City, Michigan. At 8:30 a.m. on Friday, the trek across the five mile long bridge began to the city of St Ignac, Michigan with a parade that followed. The last tractor crossed the bridge around 3:30 p.m. Local participants included Mike Anderson from Abingdon, Sheila and Hugh Forbes of Media, Jeff Forbes of Stronghurst, Kay and George Hinderer of Colchester and Fran and Rollie Moore from Oneida. It was an awesome experience! When you go on a trip, take "The Quill" along, and have your picture taken with it, and send it to us. Let's see where all "The Quill" can travel.
