MACY SMITH
Meet your neighbor, Macy Smith of La Harpe.
Macy was born in Macomb and raised in Carthage.
She is the daughter of Brad and Julie Walker and she has one sister, Tiffany.
Macy graduated from Illini West High School in 2011 where she participated in FBLA, golf, and cheerleading.
After high school, Macy attended Southeastern Community College where she completed the CNA program and worked at La Harpe-Davier Healthcare Center for a little over a year.
She obtained her phlebotomy certification from Carl Sandburg College and was a phlebotomist at Great River Medical Center for three years.
She is currently employed as a Para-professional at La Harpe Elementary working in the Pre-K classroom.
Macy married Tanner Smith, of La Harpe, where they currently reside with daughters, Gracelyn (7) and Hadleigh (almost 7 months).
In her spare time, Macy enjoys reading and spending time with family.
