Village Of Biggsville

The Village of Biggsville's regular Dec. 4th, meeting was called to order by Mayor Brian Sterett with the pledge of allegiance at 7:00 p.m.. The November minutes, bills and treasurer's reports were approved.

Street/Water: James stated he will be repairing streets with holes in them and will try to get it done before winter. He is still looking for a truck.

Public relations: Will deliver the Christmas baskets December 7th.

Zoning: A zoning permit given for a home being built at Hillcrest.

Parks: The merry-go-round will be put up next spring.

Old Business: The village sign will be put up before it freezes if possible; Christmas lights were to go up Dec. 7th.

New Business: The village board is checking into a sign to be posted at the recycling bin that states: NO GLASS or GARBAGE, and BREAK DOWN CARDBOARD BOXES.

A motion by Tammy, seconded by Kevin to accept the Tax Levy Ordinance was approved.

The next meeting was postponed to January 8th because of New Years. Absent: Becky Price. Meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m. Present: Kathie Curtiss, Dick Goff, Kevin Mortimer, Tammy Slater and Nanci Sterett.
