Ali (Postle) Burgus of Beaverdale, Iowa took "The Quill" along to the 2019 Henderson County Fair in Stronghurst for the Figure 8 races where she competed both on Friday and Saturday evenings and ended up third on Friday and then came home Saturday with a First Place Trophy in the women's class.
This was the first time Ali had entered the racing arena and she really enjoyed learning the ropes of competitive driving. She is pictured here with her and husband Kevin's young Golden Retriever "Cooper", her race car, "The Quill" and her first place trophy.
When you go on a trip, take "The Quill" along and have your picture taken with it. Let's see where all "The Quill" can travel.
