Voters Select Their Winners In Tuesday's Consolidated Election

Five Village of Stronghurst trustee candidates were running for three positions Tuesday: three incumbents: Bruce Caldwell (Charles B.), Shane Reed, and Amanda Kane along with challengers Michael Swisher, and Randy Jarvis.

Voters selected one incumbent Shane Reed and two new trustees to the board, Randy Jarvis and Michael Swisher.

Thirteen precincts were counted and sent in at 9:00 p.m. with just 831 (17.23%) casting ballots out of 4,824 registered voters. The "unofficial" vote is as follows:
