If you have a good friend-count yourself blessed. Looking back over the many years we've been friends with Bob Louden who passed to his heavenly home on Friday, made us think about the countless good memories we shared with such a good man.
Meticulous throughout his life, whether it was his work, his hobbies, his home, car or dress, Bob always was busy, making sure things were done right and expected others to be the same - accountable with what they had or whatever job was needed done. He also had fun doing it, and never seemed to let anything get in his way of his friendships. He cherished each visit. He was a great friend to me, my husband Mike, my family, and we felt honored to be called his friend.
We shared many late card games around his table, great meals of fish fried by Bob and all the trimmings by Joyce. They went to Matthew's games and even drove a car to Las Vegas to deliver it to our daughter Darci then flew home. That's sure going the extra mile. Bob had a heart of gold. He brightened our days, and we miss him terribly. Our sympathy to his wife Joyce, son Larry and his wife Pat, his dear grandchildren and family.
