The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays.

And there is so much to do around our area on the 4th, thanks to a lot of good people that help organize these events and the firemen who put on the firework displays safely so we can enjoy them.

Plus no one has to buy presents. They just have to sit back and enjoy, and celebrate this 242nd birthday of America.

We can enjoy family, neighbors and friends, and say a prayer of thanks for a strong selfless people who gave us this gift of freedom by their service and sacrifices. And for our forefathers who created the Declaration of Independence.

All we need to do is appreciate it and fly our flags. It's nice to see our communities lined with them. God bless America!
