Biggsville Makes Plans For Christmas

The Village of Biggsville meeting was called to order on November 7th, at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor-pro-tem Brian Sterett with the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Christmas light poles will be turned on November 26th and turned off January 15th. The board will make the Christmas bags on December 15th at 6:00 p.m. and they will be delivered on Saturday, December 16th.James will winterize the restroom at the parks. He filled in the hole in the street at the library. We will need to order salt for the roads for winter.

The village board appreciated everyone that contributed to the great Halloween wiener roast:

Jody Bishop and Patty Daniels for all the decorations and food, Belted Cow for the donation of cider, Casey State Bank for the donation of water, James Rogers for the fire pit and wood and Gibbs for their help with the food. It was a great success. The board also appreciated Jody and Patty for the work they did on the tables at Reid Park. It looks great.
