Aryanne Westfall
Meet Aryanne Westfall, a junior at West Central high school who is participating in the West Central Drama Club's play April 5th-7th - A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare.
Aryanne was born in Ottumwa, IA and raised in Stronghurst by her mom Melissa Cheely.
She has attended West Central since kindergarten and participates in a number of things while in school.
Aryanne is a part of the WCHS Art Club, the Play, and Yearbook.
"I really love art and literature." Aryanne said. "I like creating narratives with my work. Sometimes the process of creating is a lot more rewarding than the final result. Throughout my high school career I've enjoyed trying new things and improving overall."
This year and last, Aryanne has entered pieces in the local LTC art competition and placed second both times.
"I'm working hard towards a first place ribbon my senior year and I plan on entering a lot more competitions throughout the year to hopefully better my work."
As for the play, Aryanne is excited for the fastly approaching show nights "The play cast has been working so hard for this opportunity. I'm really proud of all of them."
In her future, Aryanne hopes to attend Bradley University in Peoria after high school to receive a bachelor's degree in Animation. After college, Aryanne plans on working with a team as a storyboarder and independently on her own projects.
Shawn Westfall and Melissa Cheely are the parents of Aryanne Westfall.
