Village of Raritan's Attorney Resigns

At the regular meeting of the Village of Raritan on Thursday, June 14th Attorney Bobi James presented her letter of resignation.

On a motion by Sammy Blender, seconded by Rob Williamson to accept her resignation, the motion carried.

A meeting was scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Monmouth to meet with an attorney interested in the job.

President Earl Waller opened the meeting and led in the Pledge of Allegiance. Sammy Blender opened with prayer.

A musical will be at the Opera House, June 30th at 7 p.m. The Firemen Auxiliary will sponsor a kid's pedal, push or ride parade on July 6 at the Relay for Life cookout.
