Senior and Shut-ins
Dear Editor:
A group of senior citizens has been making an effort to restart the "Meals on Wheels" program for all of Henderson County.
Our requests have been denied by Barbara Eskildson and the Board of Directors at The Western Illinois Area Agency on Aging.
Request for assistance has been denied by Congressman Cheri Bustos. As of this date we have not received any correspondence from Randy Frese or Jil Tracy.
I feel the senior and shut-ins should be made aware of this situation.
