The Stronghurst Division I Softball girls team, ages 8-10, took home first place in the championship games at the La Harpe Tournament this weekend and ending their season 15-1.
The girls head Coach Ashley Dermer said she couldn't be prouder of this group of girls. They worked hard all year long and never gave up no matter the circumstances. The girls played three games in the tournament winning game one 7-0, game 2 11-1 and the final Championship game 7-1. The girls are 3rd and 4th graders and have an exciting future to look forward to in softball.
