The Hancock-Henderson Quill, Inc.
O'Kemm Dixon, Carman and daughters Lisabeth of Burlington, IA and Annette and son-in-law, Brian Richard of Carman, went on a Carnival Cruise to Mexican Rivera in June, 2018 and they took the Quill with them. They flew to Los Angeles, CA and boarded the ship, hoping going early in the season they would miss hurricane season. Wrong! They ran into Hurricane Bud in Mexico. Because of this the ship was not able to dock at locations that were listed. They had a great time anyway. They ended up going up and down the west coast of Mexico several times because they were not able to dock. They have, in the past, road out Hurricane Sandy leaving from Manhattan Bay, NY to Bahamas (2012) and Hurricane Harvey from New Orleans, last year. Now Hurricane Bud.
