Jean and Tom Crotts, of Stronghurst took "The Quill' along to Western Illinois University on December 16, 2017, for the graduation of their grandson, Shafer Danuel McKune of Oquawka. Shafer graduated with a degree in law enforcement. He will start January 8, 2018, at "The Academy' in Jefferson City, Missouri to become a Missouri State Trooper.
