Heidi Ford

Heidi Ford is a Junior at West Central High School who was born and raised in Media.

Heidi's parents are Scott and Jenny Ford. Her mom Jenny is a kindergarten teacher at the West Central Elementary School.

Her father Scott is an Operations Engineer at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, IA. He is also, the Fire Chief for MST Volunteer Fire Department

Heidi has one younger brother named Jacob Ford who is thirteen years old. Heidi's grandparents are Tom and Jan Ford and Ruth and Gary Gibb.

While in high school, Heidi participated in a number of extracurricular activities. In her freshman year, Heidi was a part of the volleyball team; sophomore year she joined FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes); and in all of her three years Heidi has been a member of the West Central FFA Club and area 4H Club.

Heidi has worked with her grandpa on the family farm as long as she can remember and was recently employed at the Hancock-Henderson Quill, Inc. in Stronghurst as a writer and assistant to the Editor.

Heidi enjoys spending time with her fellow FFA members as the official West Central FFA Reporter and is the president of the Happy Rock 4H Clovers.

Heidi is a hard worker who has grown and raised buck angus cattle and continues to do so.

In her future, Heidi predicts she will attend Black Hawk East for two years after graduating high school. Then, she plans to transfer to Southern Illinois University to major in Ag Journalism and minor in Agronomy. She also wants to receive her state FFA degree within the next year.

Heidi Ford is a hardworking student and FFA enthusiast with big goals. She is a valued member of the Henderson county area.
