Meet West Central Senior Heat Athlete

by Aryanne Westfall, The Quill

Justin Bole

Justin Bole of Gladstone is a senior athlete at West Central High School who is apart of the track team this school year.

"We did good last year and this year should be even better", was what Justin had to say about the upcoming track season.

Justin told us the highlight of his athletic career involved going to meets, having fun, and meeting new people.

Justin's advice to underclassmen is, "Don't give up. Practice may be hard at the beginning, but it will get easier. Track is one of the most fun things to do".

When out of school and off the field, Justin enjoys the movie "Live.Die.Repeat." and his favorite food is mac & cheese.

Justin loves the song "Play that Song" and and enjoys listening to "The Bull"radio station. He enjoys drawing and going to art class but also loves being outdoors.

Besides track, Justin is also involved in bowling and the art club.

Justin said his role model is his dad, Brian Bole. Something Justin's dad has always quoted is very inspiring and went as follows, "Life is unfair, and the only way to make it, is to get up and fight back; let nothing get in your way".

As for the future, Justin's goal is to become a diesel mechanic or work on the rails. He works at Long John Silvers in Burlington, IA and helps his grandfather mow.

Amy and Brian Bole of Gladstone are the parents of Justin Bole.
