Brianne Burr
Meet Your Neighbor, Brianne Burr, who was born in Macomb and raised in La Harpe.
Her parents are Jerry Burford, owner of Gasoline Alley and Burford Towing, La Harpe and Vicki Burford, owner of Hair Affair, La Harpe.
Brianne has one brother, Bryan Burford, also of La Harpe.
Her grandparents are the late Leslie and Mary Burford and the late Victor Johnson. Her grandmother, Elgin Johnson, 92, resides in La Harpe.
Brianne graduated from La Harpe High School in 2005 and studied Early Childhood Education at Carl Sandburg College. She was a lead sales associate for 7 years at Dollar General and currently is a daycare provider in her home.
Brianne married Matthew Burr on June 28, 2014. Matt is a bridge tender for the BNSF Railway.
They have two children, Maddox (11), and Jace (4).
They have traveled to Minnesota to the Mall of America, have attended several Super Cross races in St. Louis, and traveled to Buchanan, Michigan to the Redbud Motocross race with her brother.
Brianne likes spending time with her family and shopping.
Her latest hobby has been designing shirts (creating designs and and transferring them onto shirts) as well as pillows and dish towels.
When asked if she has any future plans, Brianne says she would like to travel more.
