Meet Your Neighbor

Peyton Jack

Meet Your Neighbor Peyton Jack, a Sophomore at West Central High School.

Peyton was born in Galesburg and has lived around Stronghurst her entire life.

She is a very involved student who works at FS part-time as a cook. Peyton also owns her own business called "Pinned by Peyton", in which she makes and sells her own pies and other baked goods.

Peyton Jack is the reporter for FFA (Future Farmers of America) and writes articles for their cause. She is also a member of the school band. "Recently, the band went to an IHSA concert contest where we all placed well in our class, but we still have some improvements to make before we perform for them again at a contest in Florida near the beginning of June."

"I have two highlights from different organizations," Peyton said, when asked about her extracurriculars, "one is being inducted into NHS and the other is being inducted as the official 2018-2019 West Central FFA reporter".

Peyton advises incoming freshman to get involved in as much as they can. There are many clubs/sports that West Central offers and everyone is bound to find an activity they will like.

Besides from FFA, Peyton is also involved with band (she plays the clarinet), FBLA, FCCLA, Student Council, and NHS. She is also in other activities outside of school.

Peyton has one younger brother, Spencer Jack, and her parents are Dave and Amanda Jack.
