Meet West Central Junior

JASON STRACK

Meet Jason Strack, Born and raised in Stronghurst and Henderson County by his parents,

Jason is a Junior at West Central High School who works at Fishers part-time after school.

Jason is a member of the WCHS play cast and plays the character Lysander this year in "A Midsummer Night's Dream". The play nights will be held April 5th - 7th starting at 7:00 p.m. each night.

"I think the play season is going really well so far." Jason said, excited for the big night, "My advice to underclassmen is just be yourself and do what you love and enjoy; don't let other people get you down" Jason has also been apart of other plays outside of West Central while off season. For example, last year, Jason was a member of the production of "A Adam's Family".

While at school Jason enjoys participating in choir. He competed in Solo and Ensembles this year by doing a solo of his own and a duet with Sloan Fisher. Jason doesn't think he did as well as he could have at the event, but still placed well overall.

He is also involved with the high school bowling team.

"One of my biggest hobbies is beekeeping" Jason told us. He looks up to his teacher's at West Central and sees them as role models. "Mr. Boyle and Mrs. Corey," Jason started, "are great people and I strive to be as great of a person as them."

In his future, Jason hopes to attend a college or university and learn more about Computer Sciences. As of now, his favorite college is Western Illinois University.

Jason is strongly opinionated, a hard-worker, and a good friend.

Wesley and Denise Strack are the proud parents of Jason Strack
