Danyel McKune is a senior at West Central High School who played as #44 throughout this year's Volleyball season. Danyel says the current highlight of her athletic career would be when the Heat won the Bushnell Tournament. Her advice to underclassmen is, "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard".
Danyel's favorite restaurant is Oar House in Oquawka, and her favorite food is mac and cheese. She enjoys watching the movie Polar Express and listening to her favorite artist Khalid.
When at school Danyel's favorite subject is P.E. and her go-to college is Texas A&M. Her role model is Trent Shelton, while her favorite athlete is Folcke Akinradewo.
Danyel is the daughter of Dan McKune and Sherry Kelly.
