Wayne and Becky Humphrey of La Harpe, took "The Quill' along to the Ark Encounter at Williamstown, Kentucky, in October.
Accompanying the Humphreys were two of their daughters and their families. Pictured is Wayne and Becky with nine of their grandchildren. The Ark Encounter is a full-size replica of Noah's Ark. It is 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 51 feet high.
Exhibits on the three decks show how Noah's family could have maintained the Ark and cared for thousands of animals during the flood.
