Four Apprehended During Robbery

According to Stronghurst Police Chief Arbry Vancil, on Saturday, November 4th, at approximately 12:21 a.m. the Henderson County Sheriff's Department received a 911 call of four masked persons breaking into the Fisher's Food Center located on the corner of Main and Broadway streets in Stronghurst.

Henderson County Sheriff Steve Haynes and deputies, along with Police Chief Vancil responded to Fisher's Food Center to find the suspects still in the building.

The Illinois State Police K-9 unit, along with the Warren County Sheriff's Department, Oquawka and Gulfport Police Departments entered the building and four males were apprehended.

All four suspects were taken to the Henderson County Jail in Oquawka.

Arrested were three juveniles, one age 15 and two age 17.

All three were charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools and criminal damage to property.

The fourth suspect, Logan L. Fields, 22, of Stronghurst, was also arrested for criminal damage to property, burglary, and possession of burglary tools and unlawful use of a weapon.

Fields is being held at the Henderson County jail, without bond, pending a court appearance.

The three juveniles are waiting placement in the Juvenile Detention Center.
